This is the review of the Garmin Forerunner 265, one of the latest running GPS watches from Garmin that comes with a gorgeous OLED display. The Garmin forerunner265 has a bigger brother call the Garmin Forerunner 965, which we may also review at some point 🏁 STRAVA - strava.com/athletes/alexfilitti 🔺 Links from this video ⬇️ I-RUN: 🤍fsx.i-run.fr/?P4572B578543191&redir=https%3A%2F%2F🤍i-run.fr%2Frecherche.html%3Fq%3Dforerunner%26page%3D1 PRO DIRECT: 🤍tidd.ly/45Njk9O RUNNING WAREHOUSE: 🤍🤍runningwarehouse.com/search-mens.html?searchtext=forerunner&opt_perpage=20&opt_sort=relevance&opt_page=1 🇪🇺 Top4Running (discount code META) 🤍top4running.com/?a_box=husmeak6 🇺🇸 Running Warehouse 🤍🤍runningwarehouse.com/?from=filitti 🇬🇧 Pro:Direct Running 🤍tidd.ly/3J9M29W 🔺 Alex on Social media Instagram: 🤍instagram.com/alexfilitti Facebook: 🤍facebook.com/alexfilitti E-mail: media🤍meta-endurance.com Tiktok: 🤍🤍tiktok.com/🤍alexfilitti Strava: strava.com/athletes/alexfilitti Twitter: 🤍twitter.com/alexfilitti Paypal: 🤍paypal.me/alexfilittiofficial 🔺 Meta Endurance on Social media Instagram: instagram.com/metaendurance Studio: instagram.com/metaendurance.studio Shoe Supertool: 🤍meta-endurance.com/shoe-super-tool/ #SUBSCRIBE #garmin #forerunner
As an sportcoach the garmin is superior.
I bought one! Incredible watch. Loving it.
500 for a plastic watch? No thank you,i will stay with my pace 2 which is working perfect
How bad is the battery life with the Stryd pod and external HR sensor connected to the watch? After my last marathon, my FR 245 was down to 15% from a full charge, which was a bit concerning.
I'm also finding as my eyes "age" the screen size of the 245 sometimes causes me issues, so potentially looking to move to something with a larger screen. Not a huge fan of the wrist flick movement to turn on the display. I suspect I'd set it to be always on during activities, and flick in lifestyle mode.
How accurate is wrist based running dynamics (other than watts, eg stride length/vertical oscillation)compared to Stryd?
I got this update on my Fenix 7 but not sure if they are as accurate as chest strap or Stryd.
Pace 2 all the way🤘
Once you go AMOLED there is no going back!
My old 245 still doing fine. Don't care for training readiness or HRV (although HRV can be a good indicator of you bodily condition, there's very little you can do about it). So if anyone wants a good connecting watch with good basic features, have a look at the discounted 245.
Training readiness and hrv work for me on my 955, they dont stay the same ↗️↘️
Hi Alex … inflation is here lol but I will not pay 499€ for this watch even if it’s an Amoled screen… too expensive … I bought my Fenix6 2 years before for 549€ … I will probably go for a Coros pace2 if i would have to change… always on /battery life is a big issue for me …I don’t need a super Amoled screen to be turned off every time due to battery life … I want the waow effect all the time lol 😂🇫🇷 I keep my fenix6 until it will not be damage by a new Garmin update 🤪😱
I get that the amoled and touch screen warrant such a premium price, but it's just too much for that mid range line. You can get the 955 for the same price, which does have the maps. As someone who currently wears the 245, I won't even consider the 265, but go straight up to either the 955 or Fenix 7.
If you go to training readiness and scroll down it shows what factors are included in the calculation
Coros half price.... I got the Garmin 745 long ago for much less..
